I FINALLY splurged for my birthday and bought myself the flash for my Diana mini lomography camera. I must say, she looks quite fetching now. The flash also came with 12 color strips to tint photos different colors. We’re going to go on so many adventures together. If only I had the time for that..

Today it was sunny, and then in poured, and then the sun came out again while it was raining, and by the time we got to Nic’s house this happened. It was gorgeous. A full rainbow. I was freaking out and taking as many pictures as I could before it went away and I felt like that double rainbow guy.
Today is my Dad’s 51st birthday (at least I hope it’s his 51st otherwise I’m a horrible daughter). He’s the best dad anyone could ever ask for. Like, this week I got a mysterious package in the mail from him, and it ended up being a giant book full of amazing and inspring design by one of the designers from AdBusters (which he got me a subscription to for Christmas). No matter what I choose to do with my life, he supports me 100%, which is really pretty great. I hate winter and snow, but instead of going somewhere warm and sunny for spring break, I’m heading home to the UP because I miss him (and my cat) too much. So, happy 51st Daddy! Here’s a little summer sunshine at the cottage, since I know how grey it must be back home. Wow, you’re getting old. Especially since you’re youngest WILL BE 20 THIS YEAR
